Pasta, Brick Oven Pizza, Chops and Chicken, Seafood
Try any of the Italian standards such as chicken Tortellini, gnocchi, chicken parmigiana, or spaghetti and meatballs. Pizzas, pizzas and more pizzas - make up your own or choose unusual items such as Garlic Shrimp, or Chicken Alfredo. And finish up your meal with a homemade brownie.
Update: I have not been to Angie’s, since Angie sold her place. But
Angie’s legacy continues with her recent journey to New York. After 9-11-01,
Angie moved to New York and has become an ambassador of goodwill. Volunteering and
cooking a night or two at every fire station in New York City is her mission and
so far so good - she even pays for the groceries herself. If you want to support

I enjoyed the succulent lobster scampi (prepared lazy man style), grilled scallops, steamers (clams), and Boston baked beans. For a treat, sit at the Oyster shucking bar!
For those land lovers they also serve an ample variety of chicken and beef
dishes.
Chicken Basil is seasoned with hot basil leaves, minced hot pepper, mushrooms,
onions, and red pepper. Golden Bags are crisp purses filled with ground shrimp,
water chestnuts, mushrooms and Thai spices
All the dogs here are all beef Hoffy dogs and are cooked to perfection, always providing that satisfying snap. Try the Chicago Dog (celery salt, relish, mustard, tomatoes, pickles, and onions), PCH Dog (chili, mustard, onions, and cheese), and the Corn Dogs. They also have the expected sides like fries, malts and shakes.
PCH Hots Dogs is cheap, the service is fast and they are open every day.
I haven’t tried the sushi bar but by the looks of it and the comments of
other customers it appears promising.
There are a few things I believe in more then anything when it comes to food - one is that the most important thing about a sandwich is the bread. Pinas serves theirs on artesian style breads (made in house I presume), slightly toasted. My favorite sandwich here is the “Caprese” filled with lush tomatoes, basil and buffalo mozzarella. Another favorite is the meatball.
House made soups, crispy artichokes, stromboli, and of course many fresh
pastas can also be found on the printed menu. Look to the specials board for other
tasty choices.
They also have a traditional bakery and offer catering. If you choose to eat
here, they only two small tables and it is, um, very informal. Give this one a try
soon!
For a unimposing little taco shop, Los Chilies has an impressive and large menu. Next trip I have to try the El Panzon - their proclaimed house special, a burrito with Chile Relleno and your choice of meat, and rice, and beans, and pico de gallo, and Salsa Picante! I am rarely that hungry, but if I try it I will let you know.
