The standout dish here is the chicken tarna pita - Sliced grilled chicken topped with garlic sauce and tomatoes. They serve decent falafel and shawerma (aka swarma), mutabbal and hommus. For desert stroll two doors down to Assal Pastry which has every style of Mediterranean pastry known to man.

All I can say is I wish I bought stock, I wish I bought stock, I wish... I always enjoy my meals here. The burritos, tacos and bowls are freshly made from your selections. Three things that's it, made your way. Large portions suitable to share or to plan ahead for leftovers. They have a very cool and entertaining website. BTW: Stock symbol is CMG

Maki Sushi

Tustin, CA

Japanese

$20 to $30

Our rating: 4 forks

If you want fresh sushi this is the place to go. If you order Omakase, which is chefs choice, the sushi chef will often show you the seafood “live” prior to preparation. If you choose Omakase, tell the chef your likes and dislikes, budget, etc. It is common for the meal to end with Torro (belly of the Tuna) so plan accordingly. The menu and sushi prices are fair and you can dine well for $ 30 per person. If you choose, Omakase plan to spend $ 50 to $70 per person.
